Why does my pearl look different from the photo?

Baroque pearls are formed naturally, which means every single one is different. No two share the same shape, surface, or silhouette. The pearl in your Kya was hand-selected and is entirely its own. That's what makes it unrepeatable.
Are the pearls real?

Yes. Every Helena George piece uses genuine AAA+ freshwater baroque pearls. We hand-select each one individually.
Why aren’t the pearls perfectly round?

Because they were never meant to be. Baroque pearls form organically, without the perfectly round shape of a cultivated pearl. That irregularity is exactly what makes them beautiful, and what makes each piece one of a kind.
Why is the color slightly different?

Pearl colour shifts depending on the light, the angle, and the natural overtones of each individual pearl. Baroque pearls often carry iridescent undertones of pink, cream, or silver. What you see in person may vary slightly from photos, and will likely be even more beautiful.
Is my item faulty if it looks slightly different?

Not at all. Because each piece is handcrafted using natural materials, small variations are expected and are part of the design.
Will my jewellery tarnish?

To keep your jewellery looking its best, we recommend avoiding contact with water, perfumes, and chemicals, and storing it in a dry place when not in use.
Can I wear it every day?

You can wear your jewellery regularly, but we recommend handling it with care to maintain its finish and shine.
